I and am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and couples, as well as specialized training in the emotional issues associated with infertility, child-birth, prenatal and postpartum depression, parenting and alternative family building. I’ve also worked for many years with teens and their families, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I received my Masters degree at JFK University, doing advanced clinical training in therapeutic methods at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, and in Expressive Arts therapy at the Tamalpa Institute. I’m certified as an Iyengar Yoga instructor and have taught Yoga and meditation for over 20 years. My psychotherapy practice is also informed by my experiences as a spouse, a mother and longtime meditator.
